Superintendent-in-Training Program #2

Program two includes the participant’s learning and experiences on the job, including the formal OJT experiences and mentoring sessions. Specific interests and concerns will be addressed. A principal objective in this session is to sustain and expand the participant’s field observation and understanding.

Specific focus is on technical issues and time and cost management skills. A key part of the program focuses on understanding and analyzing HVAC and plumbing systems. The CITC provides the platform for this discussion and exercises. Computer applications in construction supervision and management will also be demonstrated and used.
